I Am Not Alone Ever Poem by Jacson Gelato

I Am Not Alone Ever

I am not alone
when my thoughts are sullen,
I am out there in the woods
trying to hear the songs of the birds.

I am not alone
when my heart is unhappy
I am out there in the streets
trying to find a friend of yesteryears.

I am not alone
when my ego is wounded,
I am out there in the pub
trying to find a drink of pacification,

I am not alone
when my car is cranking,
I am out there in the garage
trying to find a mechanic to fix it.

I am not alone
when my hands are trembling,
I am out there in the hospital
trying to find a doctor to stabilize me.

I am not alone
when my wife is gone and I am lonely,
I am out there in the church hall
praying loudly asking God to comfort me.
