I am not separated from you...
...though not joined to you;
I am from you...
...though not born to you;
Neither you beget...
...nor are you begotten;
I am not in you...
...though I am not out of you;

I am not still lost to you...
...as I should be, though I long to be;
Like a candle light is lost at day!
Like a snow flake is lost...
...in a warm palm!
Like rain is lost in the thirsty desert!

I do not see you with my head's eyes...
...Still I find you in the manifestation;
As the living spirit, the creative energy...
...in me and around me!
I love You, and find you love me;
I remember you, and I believe...
...You remember me.

I am a spirit - beautiful and bright, ...
...that you blew into Adam's frame;
I being from You, I long to lose...
...my heart and soul to you...
...in light and darkness both;
Because there is not even an atom...
...without You.

Oh my Love, plunge me deep in your love;
Awaken all my spiritual senses, and...
...put right my physical senses, if they...
...consider any thing you created...
...as your other, equal, or partner;
The tempest of your love carries me...
...here and there to show me your garden.
