I Am On My Painless Days/A Happy Man - Poem by Shalom Freedman

I am on my painless days
A happy old man
I know I did not become
What I hoped to become
Greatness was not mine
But I am still here
In love with so much of what I see and hear
My family center of my life
And my friends
And the life in the land of Israel
I thank G-d for so much blessing and goodness
Still here now
