I am rich beyond my wildest dreams
I've seen the trout leap in the burn,
Explored mountains in the eerie beauty
Of a blanket of mist and fog.
Explored the paths were few tread - finding
The hidden beauty in every nook and cranny.
I am rich beyond my wildest dreams
Walking the beach at sunrise -
Exploring the caves at low tide.
I've watched the ocean in a storm
Seeing the waves crash and break
Leaving a milk-white froth behind.
I am rich beyond my wildest dreams
I've seen the hawk dive for it's prey,
Picked and ate the berries from the hedgerow,
Walked in the enchanted forests,
Marvelled at the engineering skills
Of our ancient stone-age forefathers.
I am rich beyond my wildest dreams
Though my bank book is almost empty.
I've learned - at long last - not to look
For happiness in material things.
Happiness cannot be bought, or found
by adding copper Cent to copper Cent.

Nature comes beyond my wildest dreams. I perceive this with sunrise at beach exploring life. Beautiful imagery is drawn in this poem...10
