I Am The Great Illusionist Poem by Param Chaitanya Ravindra Joshi

I Am The Great Illusionist

You can never know me
unless I reveal myself to you.
You are a part of my creation
as every other living being is
And all, for me, carry equal value.
The part can never know the whole,
The leaf unable to understand the tree.
Be sure you cannot plan your life in the sea of a quadrillion beings,
I have written your fate's decree.
I have interconnected you all whether you are humans or trees.
Because you are all of one essence,
Disjointed only by the body-mind tool,
I have created this illusion of separateness,
To witness your indulgence and temperance.
On the basis of this,
I write your karmic script.
If you are a sinner,
I give you birth in lower species and nether regions.
If you are righteous,
I make you a human or grant you birth in the heavens.
If you are beyond both and just a detached viewer,
I absorb you into myself and rid you of all worldly hallucinations.
