I Am The Land - Poem by Ben Littlechild
I am the land,
I am the dust in the air, the warmth on the wind
I am the raindropp in free fall,
the splash upon the ground.
I am the land.
You are the Sky,
Forever in my view,
Lighting my days, and filling my heavens when dark.
Stars dancing in elegant ballet
Pirouetting for infinity.
While shooting stars are chased for dreams.
You are the sky.
Aloft, you encompass me,
And I beneath, your support.
Forever locked in an embrace,
Clinging to one another for an eternity.
Never apart though light or dark.
