I Am Your American Flag - Poem by Bobbie Polit Carrier

Color me red, white, and blue
Paint me with stripes and stars
Treat me with love and respect
I have been through many wars
Display me with dignity and pride
For you and me, many have died
Lift me as high as the sky
And let me gracefully fly
Don't let this banner drag I am your American Flag!
