I AM YOUR TEARS

I am your tears,
The tears that make you smile, laugh and feel a sense of worth and belonging,
The tears that make you cry that you want to shut yourself in the room all alone,
The tears that make you want to turn away from everyone else, including your very own shadow.

The tears that make you see the true beauty in every human being and in every little thing,
The tears that make the world stand in awe to celebrate your beauty, glory and your excellency,
The tears that make you wonder how on earth you ever got to where you are now successfully,
The tears that make you despisers silent and bow their heads in shame.

The tears that make you celebrate your difficulties regardless of your needs and wants,
The tears that loudly disclose your ugly scars to your bright and impressive stars,
The tears that made a way for your crown of grace when you were nowhere next in line,
The tears that make the world rush to sip the sweet lemonade you turned your bitter lemons into.

I am your tears,
In your sorrow and in your happiness,
When no one is, there I am with you,
Soothing, comforting and reassuring you that, everything will be fine again,
Anytime I fill up your eyes, roll down gently on your cheeks, wetting your palms and pillows,
That is me saying to you that… you are always the BESTEST!
