I Asked Poem by Odnalor Tines

I Asked

Rating: 4.0

I asked
I asked the sky why it was blue
And it frowned and stared at me
I asked the cloud why it was white
And it moved and hid from the sky
I asked the leaves why they were still
And it swayed and danced with the wind
I asked the bird to sing
And it sang and the trees were entertained
I asked the frog to jump
And it did and the water splashed out of the pond
I asked the water why it keeps on moving
And it flows and reached the sea
I asked myself why I am like this
And the leaves fall
They water stopped flowing
The wind became stationary
When I look around me
Everything was silent
