Selfish Parents Poem by Odnalor Tines

Selfish Parents

Sometimes when I encounter selfish parents,
My heart flames with fury
Their eyes can reach other continents
Their own children, they cannot see

My heart flames with fury
My mind lives in wonder
Their own children, they cannot see
As the closest slaves of hunger

My mind lives in wonder
What's wrong with these human beings?
As the closest slaves of hunger,
I question their existence!

What's wrong with these human beings?
Their eyes can reach other continents
I question their existence!
Sometimes when I encounter selfish parents

A gratitude for your encouragement 'cause I always think my writing sucks which prevents me from putting down on a paper some ideas that comes in my mind.
