By all that hath my heart engaged
I beg of ye to act more sage
To render reason before thy haste
And so prevent unseemly waste
Amongst those needs we see about
The prime must be to look and shout
To one and all that take too much
Pray hold fast and pull your belts a touch
For none should perish from lack of grain
While others leave more of the same
Lying there upon their bulky plate
With far more than their needs to sate
Look ye closer and train thine eyes
To see the truth of thy mirrored thighs
While puny child doth stagger on
Their stick legs will collapse ere long
Send forth succour as thee can
Actions do maketh the man
No child should grovel every day
Whilst we can proffer food their way
