I came here
To fight against what I thought wasn't right
I came here
To fight against the evil
To fight for the people
And I
Saw a way through my mind
And I
Found a way to the light
They
Will never
Take me back
To where I came came from
They
Will never
Shoot me back into the darkness
Whoever they are
Wherever they may be
I'll stay here in my quiet abode
Silently watching
And I will never
Let them see
How much they've hurt me
And they will never
Understand what they've done
And I will never
Let them do it again
For I
Will not stand
And watch them do injustice
To the people
To the hearts
To the souls
With which they abide.
