I Hate You Poem by Unknown Rosa

I Hate You

Rating: 5.0

I hate you with every bone in my body
Every ounce of blood that flows from my scars
Every vein that twists and turns
Every tear that rolls down my face
Every glance I've ever sent in your direction
Every word I've ever spoken
Every breath I've ever taken.
Your existence has been nothing but trouble
Hurt
Cruelty
You've hurt me more than you will ever be able to understand
It is the like of you that turn good hearts away
That have caused the sun to hide behind storm clouds
That cause treachery in this world
That have brought devastation
That have caused our grounds to shake
And hearts to tremble
That bring people apart
And strain relationships
Until they break
Permanently.
You do not hold power over us
Yet you bend us to your will
And break us at it.
Our skies do not darken over nothing
Our hearts do not shatter over nothing.
Life will go on
Oh, it always will
With or
Without
You.
