No Matter What I Do Poem by Unknown Rosa

No Matter What I Do

I laughed so they said: "Aren't you embarassed? "
I cried so they said: "Why don't you smile? "
I smiled so they said: "She is showing off."
I frowned so they said: "Her real personality has become apparent."
I was silent so they said: "She's dull."
I spoke, so they said: "She talks too much."
I was tolerant so they said: "She's just a coward."
And they said "If she was capable of taking revenge,
She would have taken it."
I pulled up courage so they said: "She's just cheeky,
And she wouldn't be daring if she ruled."
If I say no, they say: "She's weird."
When I approve or agree they call me stupid.
So I became certain, no matter what I do,
People will always complain
So I became certain, no matter what I do,
People will always complain
People will always complain
People will always complain.
