I came here for a while;
I ventured forth,
a fleeting sojourn,
Leaving behind
the Edenic bloom,
Not from sorrow
or cause forlorn,
But for a journey
to the unknown room.
In time's embrace,
I'll recount the tale
to my Lord,
of moments here so bright,
Of joy and wonder
beyond Eden's veil,
Where His eternal radiance
was my light.
Through the corridors
of worldly sound,
He remained
a constant, sacred hue.
In every shadow,
His presence found,
In every silence,
His voice I knew.
No chasm between
this realm and grace,
No fracture
in the divine embrace;
For in my heart,
the Edenic place,
And He remains
in timeless space.
