I Can - Poem by Cecelia Weir

I thought I couldn't
But I Can.
I thought I couldn't
But I Can.
I thought I couldn't
But I Can.

For every good deed
That I let go by.
For when I should have stood
But I was too shy.
For all the times
I should have inspired someone
But I let the opportunity pass.
Just to have the chance again
To stand even by your side
I say 'I Can.'
