A sorrow seeps
inside a place of peace
called home
When you're content with,
your dreams of your choice
but parents are not,
For their choice differs about
what should be your dream
The clash between the choices:
drifts away peace,
Choas bangs at every door,
dreams get shattered,
Compromise means morality,
and,
emotions blindly sacrifice the bright dreams
I tell you,
They want me to be someone else
and, I can't be myself anymore,
Sorry!
But, I am not a coward
I know,
their love is incomparable,
So now-
Shall I blame love for shattering my dreams?
Or shall I blame their ignorance that going with my choices means loving them less?
Or making them understand makes me rude?
Or shall I blame sense of morality that made me to make a compromise?
Or does it mean respecting my choices is a disgrace to their dignity?
Or sacrifice only means to shatter something on the cost of another thing?
I may make reality
out of a dream,
forced to be dreamt about
and still,
I shall not be happy
I may struggle and fail
For a dream of my own
And still,
I shall be happy
No dream is a bad one
nor a hard one to achieve
but choices matter
for they satisfy the soul
I shall no longer blame:
anyone or anything
for the Freedom on my choices
but misunderstanding-
that's a deep grave
anyone can be buried
healthy, young and alive
- Let us sit in a room,
room of mutual understanding
where choices will be freed
like winds
dreams never shattered
But gifted by wings of Goose
to fly higher and higher.
