I Can Not Fathom Poem by Edwin Tanguma

I Can Not Fathom

I Can Not Fathom

I can not fathom
How much personal wealth
I have amassed over the years
With all of my personal picks and such
But does it really matter
All of the tips
For my silly poems here online
Yet I really do not care
Too me it is all
The mark of the beast
Worldly riches and such
Who needs it
I am but a poor
Unknown poet
Chosen by My Father
To bring light unto this darkness
And unto ya'll blinder than blind
Ye rich of the world
Who believe that the pen
Is mightier than the sword
I have no sword
I have no pen
All that I have
Are some silly worthless rocks
Oh, one of which is my signet
The wire gold, platinum, and diamond
Are just silly useless vain rocks
I personally do not need them
I am rather sad
That some greedy entity
Destroyed a beautiful U formation
Just to keep the treasure for theirselves
I just don't know
Where this greed will lead
Other than to the destruction of the world
And all life in it
Everyone out for themselves
And no one else
Yet
Ya'll serve your waiters and waitresses
hehehe
Anyhow
I guess that I will just keep on preaching
Upon what seems to be deaf ears
Because I don't believe that anyone
Actually believes
That I am he whom I say that I am
Ya'll can keep all of your tips
I don't need THem
Ya'll can even keep my silly rocks
After all...One from
The University of Illinois, I believe,
Where I am known as 'Shiver Me Timbers'
Knows exactly where the Pt is located
Or at least this is what My Father tells me
And as for the diamond
Well...
Who knows
I guess that only time will tell
Like I have said...
I know that I have been sealed
Shall I be the alpha and the omega
If ya'll choose to remain in darkness
Or...
Shall it be 7 women taking hold of one man
It is up to ya'll to decide
I really don't know how much time
Ya'll have left to make your choice
