I can't seem to stop thinking about you this morning
You look so beautiful just sitting there
Your face so radiant, your eyes so bright
your love hit me without warning
Like a mugger in the night

I can't explain the spell you've cast
or these emotions that are seething
I want the whole world to see
this love that has me grasped
this love from you to me

I can't even begin to explain
the passion in every kiss
the look I see in every stare
the vast hollowness, almost pain
when you're not there

I can't imagine us being apart
Not seeing your smile
not seeing your face
would truly break my heart
would be to me disgrace

I can't fathom the reasons why
you would love someone like me
A blue collar guy at core
But I'm glad you decided to try
and I hope of me you do not bore

To see my future without you
is like seeing the universe end
like watching time run out
to envision this so sad and blue
