I Close My Eyes
I close my eyes and visualize
Both Mom and Dad
I feel glad
To feel them alive
In this life
Where thorns prick me, my unending strife
For a moment I smile
Love transform me meanwhile
It is the love of my parents who send me from far
Who I perceive them very near
They are in my heart
Hidden to provide me comfort
When I am torn apart.
