I close my eyes and put my head in my hand
My hair brushed to one side
I feel the night closing in
As I drift my dream can begin
I am dreaming of you my dear
You’re out there waiting for me also
I can hear your heartbeat beating clear
I want you darling, I want you near
I don’t know who you are
You’re out there feeling the same
Wishing for me to be beside you now
Somewhere we will be together somehow
Loving me forever with a passion
I know that might sound so old fashion
But I miss you because you’re not here
So my darling let me make it so clear
Even though I wake and face another day
Tomorrow I will meet you come what may
