I close my eyes to write.
That’s when the words take flight.
They are nifty. And they come quickly
Sometimes they tickle me!

I close my eyes to write.
I might wish on a star tonight
Such a sight to see the kids play
While day dreaming all day.

I close my eyes to write
Just so I can see more clearly
I close my eyes to write
Just so I don’t cry with open sight

I close my eyes when I write
Its so dark like night
Just what I like!

I close my eyes when I write
So when you read, you see the true me
And that’s what I like
