I Compare Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

I Compare

I compare

I think of, then compare
Men, women, love and hate,
As well as the parents, children,
And borders, tongues, cultures
With winter and its cold
Replaced by hot summer.

They take me to gardens;
Home of thorns, flowers.
