I Could Of Told Her... Poem by Marcus Choy

I Could Of Told Her...

There's this girl I see,
Everyday, sitting beside me,
I like her but don't know how to express,
Don't really know how to impress,
Until one day I tried to call her,
Someone answered, it was her brother,
'I'm sorry she's not home yet',
Try again later, don't be upset,
But I didn't and waited for the next day,
The teacher said 'she didn't come today',
I went home and saw the new's announcement,
'A 13 year old girl in a car accident',
I quickly burst out in tears,
Asking myself, why'd she had to disappear,
I could of called her or tell her earlier,
But I kept it to myself like a liar.
