I Cried All Night Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

I Cried All Night

Gone with the chase, the car was moving so fast
I should have stopped long side the road
But I decided to play along too
I was thinking of the view
Caught in the rear view mirror
embraced me with passion awakes me inside
the fever just burning that time amplifies

I cried all night thinking of you
and that's not right
took a fall so deep
there was not a clue
and that's not right
I cried all night

why in the world do we follow our hearts?
No matter what I do
I feel the noise tearing me apart
I hold onto the moment when there was no longer a spark
No medicine soothes me the way that you do
Nothing eclipses what comes over me and you
