I Cry My Heart Out Poem by Anand Rai

Why do I hear the soft footsteps when I know there is none,
Where does the breeze slowly blow my hair and stiffen me,
How do I breathe when my lungs are so stiff and my voice hoarse,
Which way do I turn around for every journey ends here.

The sweet laughter that still rings in my ears and softly calls my name,
I look back to an empty and dark night awaiting me in silence,
As the daylight fades away into the awesome twilight,
I empty my thoughts and shed a dropp of tear for my companion.

A star shoots through my body and tears me apart,
It’s all I can do to keep standing still and wait for my last wish,
To starship through all the forgotten memories,
And live around the corner that I just passed by.

I am stranded in an alienated world of injustice,
Life just beat me by the side and I am still searching the boost,
That will help me find life and reinstall all my lost time,
And help me live again
