Life And Life Poem by Anand Rai

Life And Life

Rating: 5.0

What is left in our dear life,
If we choose to end all our strife.
And swim away in an island faraway,
Beside a tree that shadows unfair play.

Destiny seems to follow us everywhere,
Leave your heart grave and swear,
To leave destiny as it always shall be,
And pronounce a future that all shall see.

How do you see a life that has no life,
Traveling all alone on the blades of a knife,
Figuring out ways to undo the ultimate error,
And cutting away sweetness and pouring dour.
