I cry out
for you
with your name
on my lips

that beautiful name
the wonderful smile
the glowing eyes
that draw me in

I feel as though
I'm caught in a web
a web of love
I'll never free from

sometimes I wish
that I was free
because I don't want
you to get hurt

it hurts me so much
when I see you
even with
a frown

I wish I could
just say bye
and give up on
you and I

I hate to say it
but goodbye
there's nothing here
for me anymore

so long dear friend
I'll truly miss you
but I think it's best
if I just leave.
