I wake, I rise
And by the sink
I wash, I dress
I brush my teeth
I travel, I work
I laugh and smile
I act, pretend
But all the while
I dare not think
I take the train
I'm home once more
Against the world
I lock the door
I exercise
I sit, I stare
And only then
And only there
I start to think
I sometimes eat
I sometimes fast
I very slowly come apart
