I, Demise Poem by Maddy Jones

I, Demise

Rating: 4.0

Meet your wonder,
Meet your death,
I hold your future,
Your one last breath,

I am grim,
I am just,
I am unfair,
Do not trust,

Dishonesty winds,
The tangles of lust,
Hatred breeds,
From hatred of one,
Upon these conditions,
Sometimes I come,

Somtimes I take,
Sometimes I leave,
Guess who I am,
Will I take thee?

I am dark,
I am cold,
I take strong & weak,
And young & old,

It's my job,
The souls I rob,
What is my name?
Who am I,
When demise is my game?
