I Detest The Quintessential ' Ism' Poem by Hebert Logerie

I Detest The Quintessential ' Ism'

I always hated communism, cronyism, capitalism,
Leninism, materialism, socialism, colonialism,
Marxism, nepotism, plagiarism, and 'stupidism'.
Life was created to be simple.
Life was made to be pleasant.
There is enough for all inhabitants.
Let's build the right path and be a good example.
Let's create a system, which works for all,
So all of us at one point can walk tall.
Let's be responsible and pay for our mistakes.
Let's maintain our roads, rivers, and lakes.
Let's come up with new inventions and new drafts.
Stop believing in spurious philosophies, and witchcrafts.
Stop the greed, the corruption and the envy.
Those three devils are destroying liberty,
Freedom, and happiness; they're killing us,
Manipulating us, misguiding us, and kicking our butts.
God created us with one left and one right hand.
Why not be in equilibrium? Why must we land
To the very far left or to the very ultra right?
We need to wear better glasses, to have a better sight.
Our eyes are open, but we cannot see in them.
We have ears, but we cannot hear the loud drum.
What is wrong with humanity in general? What's going on?
Why are we destroying our tomorrow? What's going on?
