I Do Not Have A Choice: I Have To Choose Poem by Nicolas Amadai

I Do Not Have A Choice: I Have To Choose

I have a choice,
Not the easiest one, but it's a choice anyway

I have a choice to suffer, or the choice to suffer, anyway

Both choices will make you suffer

But they say life is made up of choices,
So I have no other choice than making a choice

More than a will, it's a need

I need to choose
Choose to be happy, with you

Or choose to regret, the rest of my life

I need to choose to keep you close

Or to let go of you

Either ways, you will suffer, so I will suffer too

That's why I don't want to choose
But even not choosing is a choice
And choices are difficult, so much that I suffer, and so do you
