i do not wish to die in the classroom
learning all day about what life is all about
i do not wish to die in the comfort of my own home
beside my lover
embraced by the comfort of warm arms
i wish to die like a child
wildly free
playing and running
in the playground of life
i wish
that not
a single mom watches me
as i stumble on a rock
or fall from a swing or a seesaw
and then
i simply close my eyes and dream
about a certain darkness that shall have no end.
then i will dream of a faint light, a little angel
waking me up again
