Such beauty in so few words
never composed never heard
Ii still remember those days gone by
when we grasped each other
as we passed by
Never heard
never seen
my, O my
yet those days
I remember too
loving was the life of you
nothing clasped
nothing held
‘ twas simply love in thin air
now I remember those days gone by
why don't you recall
O why, O tell me why
don't they come by, perhaps
'tis dementia still
it will not only you
but my memories kill
yet I do remember you still
some day
one day
remember me you will
