I don't know what
I don't know why
all I know is
I've got to leave this place
before I start to cry

I've got to go
get far away
or get sucked in further
each and everyday

I don't know how
I don't know when
all I know is I've got to get there
before I make it end

I don't know
know how to feel
in this empty world
just an average girl
by herself and all alone
afraid to leave
to be free

scared to know
what it's like
to dream at night
such a lonely plight

prefers to be by herself
with no one else
in her world of hell

she felt alone
she felt afraid
and into the darkness
she will slowly fade
