I don't drink and I don't smoke
So, I don't get drunk and I don't choke,
I never took drugs to get high
When I hear about it I cringe and sigh.
I don't swear and I don't curse
And I can recite any biblical verse,
And I never speak with an angry hateful tone
For being a Christian I am proudly known.
I don't rob and I do not steal
But, I donate and I give to help and heal,
I do not lie and I do not cheat
No one do I want to destroy or spiritually defeat.
I do not gossip or spread rumors or hold a grudge
And unto no one will I falsely accuse or judge,
I don't blame others for my own faults
And into no one's wounds do I rub salts.
I keep my word all of the time
If I didn't I would feel as if against God I committed a crime,
So, when I give my word it's as good as gold
Because, I can't be either bought or sold.
I don't borrow money from friends at all
At least as far back as I can look back and recall,
And if I borrowed a dollar from anyone
Paying them back upon my honor I'd swear upon.
I don't think that I am better than him or her
And I don't that think that their better than me either,
And I am not a con and I do use others or scam
That is who I am.
