If you see a tear come out of these eyes of mine,
Don’t ask me why because
I don’t know

If you ask me why I still hope
For that miracle to occur
Don’t ask me why because
I don’t know

Every day I just think to myself
And wonder
Should have I ever accepted that request?

Yet I also wonder why I must ever doubt myself
When I know that it made me happy
The answers to these questions?
I don’t know.

This year and the one before have been such a change
For me
All I know and ever known
I always look for perfection in something imperfect.
But why?
I don’t know…
