You Came Along Poem by Nicole Reynoso

You Came Along

Rating: 4.8

I sat along the side of the crowd,
admiring faces full of glee and emotions.
I was wondering what I had did wrong before and
dreaming of when a true guy will come along.

You asked me to dance
and smiling I said yes.
That butterfly feeling in my stomach began
and I knew something good was going to happen.

Our bodies flowed on beat with the music,
as one we danced the whole song.
A few words exchanged and a couple of laughs here and there.
In my mind, I thought this was too much happiness for me to bear.

That night I went home with you on my mind.
I thought that someone will never make me happy again.
But you came along.

Now im admiring our last dance and with a smile I repeat your name.
I was a love disaster and a heart break before,
Then you came along.
