I Find No

Rating: 3.5

I find no
I find no enemy
With Your presence.

With Your presence
I received everything
And I climbed the tree.

I climbed the tree
That is Yours
To find the road of light.

Dear Mr.Mishra, I have written a long comment on this and other poems but I'm not sure if I sent it properly. In case it hasn't reached you please let me say that all you poems seem to me to be deceptively simple in terns of vocabulary but very deep in meaning. I feel honoured to have received positive comments from such a profound poet. Best wishes, Robert Melliard

Dear Mr. Mishra, I have read your five most recent poems and I must confess that I am a little perplexed because I think I lack the spiritual knowledge necessary to understand them well. In I find no for example I am not sure if the tree refers to a tree of knowledge or something else. What I can perceive is that this poem is deceptively simple in terms of vocabulary but very deep at the same time, which is a characteristic of all five poems. I suppose that Yours with a capital Y refers to a god but I have no idea which one. In it is night, it is dark on the other hand You and Your appear to refer to a beloved partner. This poem is especially moving but I'm not sure if okay works because it is so colloquial. I love at the very core of my heart and Creatures all around us, here, there. In Dear friends come on I don't understand why you write the life instead of just lifeunless you are talking about a particular spiritual path, but this poem is wonderful nevertheless. I'm afraid I don't understand i am ready to. Controlling seems to descibe an inner spiritual harmony, perhaps achieved by many years of study and meditation. In fact in all these poems I sense that a lengthy process has taken place in order to achieve wisdom. I feel honoured that such a profound poet has read and even commented on some of my own work. Many, many thanks for your encouraging words. Best wishes, Robert Melliard.
