I Forget Poem by Bounty Hunter

I Forget

I forget-
I forget the time of day
I forget the smiles
I forget yesterday,

I forget tomorrow
I forget the tears and rain
I forget the pain
I forget who I am
Because I'll never be the same

I forgive the lullabies,
Surrounded by the sweetened lies
I forgive the lonely days,
Because they are in my yesterday's.
I forgive the fearful nights,
The tear stained pillows, uncalled for fights

The cruel remarks, the deadly stares,
The weight and hate for all those years.

I forget the time of day, I forgive myself today
