I Found That Someone Poem by Randy McClave

I found someone who I stood proudly at their side
From whom my joy and happiness I could not hide,
That someone who I knew that I could not ever lose
That someone for me, who God did truly choose.
She was that someone who I would always fight for
That someone who was always welcomed through my door,
That someone who I always had loved and appreciated
Sadly through pain and hurt, we were both once initiated.
That someone I truly and deeply loved and respected
That someone I never ever used, or hurt or rejected,
And that someone I truly loved forever unconditionally
And I also loved that someone spiritually.
I found that someone not that very long ago
Where that someone is now, I truly don't know,
That someone is still in my heart and forever in my poetry
That someone I loved, but that someone didn't love me.
