I Had Thought That Having Annihilated Myself...

I had thought that having annihilated myself...
...I would completely immerse in divine existence;
A path to Thee I had thought annihilation of self is, ...
...but ah! No creature may draw near thee, ...
...whether through renunciation or annihilation, ...
....save by realising that thou art One Absolute reality...
...which is beyond both Halul and Itihad, ...
...(Incarnation and Union) ;
Because both are derived from the belief of duality;
Any eye filled with the vision of duality cannot see...
...the existence of One-reality, manifest in the whole creation;
Any eye filled with the tempting beauties of the world...
...cannot see the Beauty of Oneness.
