I Hate Poem by Tatyana 'Churlish Cherub' Almeida

I Hate

Rating: 4.0

I hate the way you cut your hair
Everything about you, your clothes, your very air
And the fact that you simply don't care
I hate the fact that you can read minds
That whenever you search, you find
And how you can be so unkind...
But mostly I hate that I like you

I hate that you never cease to amaze
That whenever you walk into a room
You set it on fire, set it ablaze
And that you change lovers like shirts
Each one a fashion statement, a new phase
I hate that you're venomous without provocation
And that your name's the one on everyone's lips
And in everyone's imagination...
But mostly I hate that I adore you

I hate that I can't tell you how I feel
That you wounded me and it won't heal
That away from you it's like there's
No seasoning in every meal
And that unfortunately the unrequited
Desires will be forever real...
But mostly I hate that I love you
