I Hate You! Poem by Gayathri Ramasubramanian

I Hate You!

Rating: 5.0

frowned, shocked, jolted
i shut your love away
'Don't come back, I no more want you
No more sweet talks and sweet nothings
No more hugs and kisses
Get lost you bluff! '
I hate you!

without
your whiff and tone
for a week
great loneliness
settled in...
I'm traumatized
I hate you!

one minute, i pick up my phone
staring
next minute mail
third minute roam around home
people stare flummoxed
why do you do this to me?
I hate you!

flowers have wilted
olfactory nerves dead
food couldn't find it's way
sentiments grow stronger
no longer can take this
I hate you!

heart beat plummeted
at the glance of you
whole body melted
blasted lips were sealed
feelings went unvoiced
hands couldn't grasp
I hate you!

no longer, no longer
these emotions be held in
it slithers into me
my mind is corralled
to the brim of bursting
feelings grow stronger
I hate you!

i opened the door
saw your love beseeching
to be let in
'sorry! '
gusto of emotions
caved in dazed
Little did i know,
my heart
amidst all these pandemonium
ego
outrage
despair
pique
stalling to burst
'I LOVE YOU'

I hate you!
