I Hate You Poem by Emma Jane Rae

I Hate You

Rating: 4.5

I've never hated anyone,
How much I hate you,
You've destroyed my life,
With the things that you do,
Your actions have consequences,
But you don't seem to care,
You just look straight through me,
Like I'm not even there,
I hate you,
For what you've done,
I hate you,
For making me look so dumb,
I hate you,
For the lies you've told,
I hate you,
Because it's you I want to hold,
I hate you,
For stamping on my heart,
I hate you,
For tearing us apart,
I hate you,
For all the plans that we had,
I hate you,
For making me so sad,
I hate you,
Because I gave you my all,
But most of all I hate you,
Because I don't hate you at all

I think this is the best poem Of yours I have read yet, Emma Jane, as it shines a bright light on out complex and overlapping emotions as humans, our love-hate relationships. Well done!
