I Have A Dream Poem by Muhammad IkramUlHaq

I Have A Dream

Rating: 5.0

You see the world avoids
Of being trapped in cage
To keep up with those
Who hurt, by burning carts
Of words, of thoughts
So they run away aside
Why it happens?
Let us change the cycle
Of Sleep, calm and then sleep
Let us move our heads
from cushions, from calm
Lets us be trapped in cage
To see what the life it keeps
Why that bird keeps silent
Why he doesn't cry on remains
You don't see we lock his freedom
Let us lock our own
Let us see that wall from inside
Which clutches the Life
The hues remain away
Let us speak the person
Who stays behind, unsound
The cost we will see
Is coarse but ladens his heart
Above the cushions we keep
Above the stone he keeps
On the wall we paint
For life, for joy, for fond
Beyond the wall he laments
For life, for joy, for fond
A dream is there to fill
Let the dream come true
Let the dream come true.
