'I Have A Life To Live' Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

I have not wealth, nor enjoy good health,
But I have a Life to live,
With all YOUR wonders to behold,
And all that to us YOU give.

YOUR love to us is great to see,
But, what should we give to YOU?
Nothing, except our faith in YOU,
And we should give that continually.

When times of stress encompass me,
I put my Faith in YOU,
And know that in time to come,
YOUR love will see me through,
Those days morose when I feel sad,
And my spirits do not rise,
When all around appears to be bad,
From Sunset to Sunrise.

But, wait a while, take hold once more,
Of thoughts and memories good,
Look to the Future, to what’s in store,
For YOUR Love will brighten my mood.
