I Have A Lithp, Tho I Live In Thilenthe. Poem by Austin Wheeler

I Have A Lithp, Tho I Live In Thilenthe.

Every time I accthidentally thpeak,
My audienthe jutht thtareth.
And It'th not becauth I reek,
It'th because no one really careth.

Even my mother laughth,
When I pronounth my etheth.
It doeth not matter if I mathter calculuth and fanthy graphth
There ith more to thith mind but no one ever guetheth.

I even type in a lithp and I know you are annoyed
Some have even call me a queer.
But thith voith ith a part of me that can not be dethtroyed,
Not even through technology. Maybe I don't belong here,
In thith time and plathe. And thingth arent made better by my shteroidth
Tho to underthtand me, You may need a copy of NO FEAR,
Becauthe I have a thpeech impediment,
And tho did William Thakethpeare!
