I Have But These Words Poem by Seyyed Bagher Mirshojaee

I Have But These Words

I have but these words
To put the most colorful velvet clothes on your body
To bring oceans of spectacles in your eyes
The heavens of songs for your lips
To make the world wear its best clothes with great ardor
And make all children of the globe joyful.

With these words
I can paint you riding on a rainbow
to the end of the world;
Your smiles are framed in all walls of my home
They drizzle over the yard and sweep it
The alley is decorated with flowers
The city is adorned with glowing lights
And they plant on every lip the flower of smile
They invite the workers to take rest
And make addicted people safe and stand upright
Since in your presence the world becomes radiant.

The heavenly knot of the earth
With the help of these words
I can make beds of bunches of colorful flowers out of desperate people
I spray the tears of mothers of the world in your path
And I spread the hands of the fathers on your feet
No, No our eyes are spread.

I can do them all with words
And pour light on earth
And show the ladder to all
And bombard the gardens of people with red apples
And write the address of your village on the palm of every one's hands,
And....

Alas for me! My dearest!
But I can do all of these things just out of these words.
