I have done with the death, enough is enough,
I won't shed another tear, my heart's been rough
I have faced its wrath, seen its cruel face.
But now I am tired, I need to find my grace,
I have witnessed loved ones taken away,
Leaving behind an emptiness that forever will stay,
I have mourned, I have grieved.
But now I am done, I have nothing left to believe,
For what is death but a cold and lonely bed,
A passage to unknown, where souls are shed,
Is it not a soul that sineth die?
Or is it a punishment for those who dare defy?
I refuse to cry, for death has taken its toll,
I refuse to bow down, to its heartless control,
For I am but a mortal, who can only endure.
The pain and sorrow, that death has in store,
Should I be condemned, for when I have sinned,
Or is it just fate's game, that I have been pinned?
For the one's who have eaten sour grapes.
Do they deserve death, as punishment for their mistakes?
I have done with the death, it has nothing to accuse me,
I won't fear it, for I have nothing left to see,
I am at peace, with the ones who have left.
For in their memories, my heart will forever be kept,
So let the dirge be sung, for those who have passed,
Let the tears be shed, as their souls we cast,
But for me, I have done with the death,
For in this world, I find my final breath.
